RedHouse Originals is delighted to present Lost & Found an exciting new exhibition by David Rusbatch.

Rusbatch: “I am a huge fan of dance music; when done well, it can be the most euphoric and powerful music on the planet. Essentially I am striving to create a visual language for dance music through painting.”

The artist’s ambitions are only surpassed by the nature and scale of the striking paintings he has produced. The imagery relates directly to experiences at clubs and parties across the UK over the last fifteen years and his passion for the ‘art of music’ is immediately recognisable.

Lost & Found will feature twenty five original mixed media works on a range of substrates incorporating traditional canvasses with found objects including pallets, crates and fencing. There has been strong early interest from key players in the dance world as well as notable collectors of contemporary art, the common belief being that Rusbatch is producing the most important work of his career to date.

The collection has been over a year in the making and is set to be unveiled at RedHouse Originals with a launch party from 6 – 9pm on Friday 4th April. The exhibition will run until 3rd May 2014.
