The Girls Can’t Help it is based on Pete McKee’s interpretation of the 1950s Femme Fatale.
The artist has produced a new selection of original paintings and special edition prints showcasing a tongue-in-cheek homage to the pulp fiction book illustrations of this golden period.
“What’s really exciting is that I’ve changed my style and approach ever so slightly to achieve the desired look and feel. For one, there’s text on the final prints and the compositions are more dramatic. Ultimately the paintings have all the DNA of a McKee but with a twist.”
