Ronnie Wood: Paint It Black

Limited Edition Prints with Hand-Signed Dedication

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years since I joined The Rolling Stones. In these portraits, I wanted to capture the spirit of Mick, Keith, me, and our late friend Charlie Watts, and the live shows we’ve been lucky enough to play together. I’m proud of the journey we’ve been on, and it felt right to share these prints with the world now. Art has defined my life, and I’ve been painting even longer than I’ve been playing music.”

The word legend is often overused but, in this instance, it is an understatement.

RedHouse Gallery is honoured to announce a presentation of artwork by two-time inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (with The Rolling Stones and Faces) – Ronnie Wood

Paint It Black features 4 portraits of the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Rock & Roll Band”, The Rolling Stones, consisting of current band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and a self-portrait of Ronnie himself.

“I apply musical theory to my art. I build limited editions in much the same way as studio overdubs; the more defined ones are things that stand out in the mix.

The release of the Paint It Black series includes a unique opportunity for a customised dedication from the artist. Each print ordered before Friday 5th December will arrive hand-signed and numbered, with a personalised dedication if desired.

All prints will go on view at RedHouse Gallery from Friday 14 November, and will be on exhibition into the New Year.

Artworks will also be available to purchase through Own Art, where payments can be spread across 10 monthly instalments, interest free.
